As envisioned at the start of the year, we successfully held our first Civic Leadership Workshop in partnership with Media Challenge Initiative, hosted at the American Center, Kampala. This marked the beginning of our series of quarterly workshops aimed at nurturing informed, engaged, and responsible young leaders.
The session focused on “The Role of Social Media in Preventing Election Violence.”Participants explored how various digital platforms can be used as tools for peacebuilding, civic awareness, and responsible dialogue, especially during critical political moments.
This inaugural workshop brought together passionate youth leaders and equipped them with practical tools and a values-driven mindset to become change agents within their communities. We thank everyone who showed up, shared boldly, and committed to loving facts. We can’t wait for the next one in September!
