UGANDA UNITES RESPONSE TO COVID – 19 PANDEMIC – APRIL

During the month of April, continuing with the relief drive started in March in response the COVID-19 pandemic, Uganda Unites, in partnership with the Cradle, SafeBoda as well as the Robert Katende Initiative, was able to raise a total of $5,380 in donations towards supporting the purchase of the items provided in the relief packages that Uganda Unites was distributing to low wage earners.

The organization was able to provide for more than 940 individuals from 188 families from more than 9 communities within the country, that is, Katwe, Bwaise, Kawempe, Nateete, Kibuli, Makerere, Kanyanya, Gayaza, Nsooba and Mutungo.
