We visited 14 new schools in the month of February; where 7 were in the Eastern region, 5 in the West, 3 in the North, and 1 in the Central region, and two (2) schools were re-visited to provide peace club support. A total of 1100 youth were engaged, and 830 signed up to be members of Uganda Unites. 52% of the youth engaged were from eastern region. This helps increase our presence in the East.
Fourteen (14) new peace clubs were formed in the new schools visited, and 2 old peace clubs (in previously visited) schools were supported. Each of the newly established peace clubs received a guidebook to support them in the facilitation of peace club meetings and modules.
