In the month of February, Uganda Unites took on its second full-time employee, Abdul Malik Kateregga, as the Programs’ Officer in charge of School Relations and Peace Clubs.
Additionally, ten (10) new volunteers were recruited from the Central and Eastern regions of the country. From the Eastern region; Sunday Laban, Wabwire Faustin, Jaziira, Wilberforce Kityo and Nantale Brenda. Kirungi Husna, Kayondo Charles, Nakimera Shabirah, Rena Kagimu and Odoi Joseph were recruited from the Central region.
These volunteers contribute a minimum of two (2) hours a week towards Uganda Unites work, including, but not limited to, school relation visits, peace club support and fundraising.
